 Single-side tambourine

Hand drums are shallow tom toms built with a wooden frame made from bent wood or from assembled sections.

When the frames is finished, wet rawhide is stretched over one or both sides of the hoop and laced to frame.

Historically, hand drums were an essential part of spiritual ceremonies for vision, power celebrations and healing.

Single or double headed plain or painted their manageable size (just 2 to 4 inches deep) coupled with the strong, full sound they emit, make hand drums are or displaying.
