Who we are.
Native craftsmen from Taos Pueblo work onsite to create our world-renowned drums. From small drums for children to the largest drums you could imagine along with the decorative lamps and shades, we have a wide selection inside our showroom that is open to the public. We also have a large selection of Native Southwestern pottery, jewelry, carvings. We also have a large selection of Folk Arts and textiles from Central America. Read More

Our drums are made with nature crafted materials such as cottonwood, aspen, or pine wooden shells and are wrapped with rawhides. Therefore, each drum is unique with regard to the natural characteristics of the products we use. Read More
Standard Art Designs
We offer some of our Standard Art designs to be hand-painted by local artists for your drum. Each drum is unique as each drum skin adds a different natural element. In the process, the artists find that each design takes an organic direction no matter how many times the design has been rendered. Check out the designs here.
Limited Edition Art Designs
For centuries, Pueblo drums have been painted with symbolic colors and designs to bring a special unifying power to tribal ceremonies. The painted drum edition of Taos Drums combines the traditional with new directions in the ancient craft of drum making by utilizing the tri-cultural artistic resources from the northern New Mexico area. Lamp Shades
Plain or painted lamp shades are available to purchase separately for your room in mind. All shades are hand-made and laced trim is available on side seams. We have too many sizes and options to describe. Check out the plain or painted options.
